I am looking for 2-3people interested in working 25-35 hours per week (Mon-Fri) hours would vary. This person has to be a student.  This would be testing, visualizing and washing rubber goods used in the electric distribution and maintenance of power grids.  This position requires a person to be able to do repeated task daily with  a high level of accuracy.  The person will have task that will have deadlines that will have to completed.  Mississippi Power Company goes thru an agency, Sirius for this type of labor.  The person would be paid thru Sirius but would report to Mississippi Power Company for work.  Mississippi Power Company is a drug free work place and the person would have a drug screen and background check done before employment done thru Sirius.   I am ok with the perspective employee to coming to MPC ppe testing lab to better understand the tasks required, they would need to contact me to arrange a time.

Thank You,

Bambi Maheu

Hello!

My name is Erik Hill and I work with Divorce Matters, a divorce & family law firm located in Greenwood Village, CO.  We would like to announce the Divorce Matters Scholarship.

This scholarship is available high school seniors and current college students who have either had parents go through a divorce or who have gone through a divorce themselves.  Divorce Matters understands how difficult it can be to pay for college after being involved in a divorce and want to help someone afford a better education.

Here are some brief notes on this scholarship:

  • $2,500 (One-time award)
  • Due May 31, 2018
  • Must be attending a 4-yr college/university or 2-yr community college for Fall 2018
  • Incomplete or Late Applications will not be accepted

We think this would be a great opportunity for your students and were curious if you would be willing to share this scholarship with them?  If so, you can view the scholarship and other pertinent information here:  https://www.divorce-matters.com/#divorce-scholarship
Thank you for time and have a great day!

Dear School Counselor or Representative:

What a busy time of year this is for you and your high school seniors.  Knowing there are many preparations and deadlines looming in the days ahead, I hope the attached information will help your senior girls in regard to sorority recruitment at their chosen college or university campus.

The Meridian Area Panhellenic Association was established in the early '80's and is made up of area alumnae from various sororities.  The process of sorority recruitment can be complex and, in some cases, intimidating for many girls.  The Meridian Area Panhellenic Association is here to help them with paperwork and recommendation letters, and to hopefully put them at ease by answering the many questions they and their parents will invariably have.

For your senior girls who wish to participate in Recruitment, please encourage them to pick up an invitation and form from you to our annual Mother/Daughter Informational Hour on Thursday, April 26th at 4:30 in the afternoon.  It will be held at the home of Mrs. Kristen Hill.  Her address is 7335 King Road.  This will be a great opportunity for the girls and their mothers to ask questions and learn more about the recruitment process.  We will also discuss the forms attached and make sure they understand the instructions on filling them out and returning them by their deadline, May 31st.

Thank you so much for your help as we attempt to assist these young women with "one less thing" to confuse them prior to orientation at their chosen college/university.  Please call or email me should you have any questions.
