To whom it may concern,

Hi my name is Katie Kovach. I'm with Mississippi State's Society of Women Engineers. We are hosting an outreach event on Saturday, March 30th for 9th-11th grade girls with the goal of getting them excited about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

I was hoping we could have you distribute a flyer to teachers to give to girls you think would be interested and work with you in making sure they are able to take the necessary steps to participate in our event. This event is completely free and we will provide lunch for the students.Parents are invited to tour Mississippi State's campus while the students participate in STEM related activities. This event is limited to 60 spots so please register soon. More information can be found on the attached flyer.

Thank you,

--

Greetings:

I'd like to share with you an opportunity for your rising seniors. Boys State is the premiere leadership program for young men in the state of Mississippi. We seek the most civic-minded students who have shown ability in leadership and academics. Ideally, we'd like to have at least one delegate from each school. We encourage as many as possible to apply.

The Seventy-seventh Session of Magnolia Boys State will be held at The University of Mississippi in Oxford May 26 - June 1, 2019, and the fee for boys is $275 per delegate. Please encourage your school's junior boys worthy of recommendation to register online at www.msboysstate.com. After they have completed the on-line registration, they will need to print the information pack, which includes two of the necessary documents. First, the School Counselor's Form must be filled out by the young man's counselor. Second, the Local Legion Contact Form will provide the students with information about contacting their local American Legion Post. They must get this form signed by the local American Legion Post Commander or Adjutant.

If you or a student have any questions about our program, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. We stand ready to get as many kids involved with our program as possible.

Thank you,

Hunter Pace

Subject: Volunteer Opportunity

Hello Mr. Keene,

Please share the following information with SEHS's coaches and club sponsors.

The Junior Auxiliary of Meridian needs volunteers to help assemble this area's first playground of its kind. Jeannie's Place at Planet Playground will be unique because a child of any ability level will be able to use all of the equipment.  Construction is set to start later this month. I'm attaching information below about the project, and contact information is listed on that.  The contact person for the Junior Auxiliary is Casey Culpepper. You can contact her directly at culpepperck@gmail.com or at (601) 678-2413.

Please let me know if you have students who plan to volunteer. Thank you so much for all that you do. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Take care,

Andrea Williams
