As high school seniors gear up to graduate, they probably have a lot of things on your mind as they prepare for college life...namely, how to pay for college? If so, I hope you'll encourage students like this to consider the Air Force ROTC program at The University of Southern Mississippi. With a 26 ACT score or higher and a 3.0+ GPA, seniors are eligible for the Air Force ROTC High School Scholarship Program (HSSP)! This is a 4-year scholarship that covers tuition, books, and fees. The application deadline is January 17. To learn more and access the application, go to afrotc.com/scholarships/high-school/types. Pursuing a bachelor's degree is a challenging yet rewarding path. Walking away with a degree AND a career before graduation (and possibly debt-free!) is a game-changer. I hope you'll pass this along to your seniors as an opportunity to finance college. It will take place in March 2020 on Meridian Community College's campus. Students can register with the Career and Technical Education teachers on each campus.
