The Allie Carruth Scholarship

The Allie Carruth Scholarship will be awarded to a Lauderdale County senior who plans to pursue his or her education at a 2 or 4-year college/university in the next academic year. Our family learned firsthand the value of community in the aftermath of losing Allie five years ago. We felt the impact of love for our family and service in Allie's memory from family, friends, co-workers, and those we had never even met. A sense of community has taken on a whole new meaning for our family. As you prepare to enter the next phase of your life, what role will community play in shaping your future? When you settle into your own place in life, how can you give of yourself and your talents to the place that you will call home?

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is having a great semester!

Please help me share this information with your students.

EMCC will be hosting our Honors Orientation on March 25th!   This event is for students with a 20 or higher on their ACT (or if anybody is close please let me know and I can make an exception).

This orientation gives them the opportunity to finalize admissions, scholarships and register for fall and/or summer classes.  They will be the first students at EMCC to register for classes and by doing so it secures their place in the dorm before the dreaded wait list begins.

I have attached a flyer for more information, please, please, please help me get this information to your students.

If I can help in any way please let me know.

Thank you,
