My name is Channing Peebles, and I am the Marketing Specialist here at The Citizens Bank.

 

I just wanted to send out a reminder about our Reward A Scholarship Program so you can let your students know! I have attached a flyer and last year's winners to this email!

 

This program is for Junior and Senior's. For every "A" on a student's report card, it qualifies them for a chance to win a scholarship! Each "A" earned allows a separate chance to enter into a drawing to win $1,000 scholarship! The more "A's" earned, the better the chances of winning! We will draw and announce a winner at the end of the school year. The Citizens Bank will award a total of  sixteen $1000 scholarships. Eligibility applies to high school juniors and seniors in each county we serve.

 

The student does not have to bank with The Citizens Bank to qualify. To enter, all they have to do is bring a copy of their report card to a branch of The Citizens Bank. Due to COVID – 19, our lobbies are closed so they can either bring a copy of their report card in the drive thru, call their local branch to make an appointment to drop it off, or they can send it to me via email at channing.peebles@thecitizensbank.bank

 

As well as the student receiving a $1000 scholarship, the school they attend also receives $500 from The Citizens Bank.

 

I also want to note cause some students get confused, the report card needs to be for the current year, not a previous year.

 

I wanted to get this information out in time that you all could relay the message about this opportunity. They can bring their report card for each 9 weeks or however often report cards go out.

Just as the subject mentioned, UWA is running a campaign to give students from select high schools a free application!  After completing the campus application, you students will enter the discount code advantageapp22 on the payment page. Don't forget to click apply to active the code. This discount code will completely waive the $30 application fee. I encourage all of my students to apply to any school they are interested in. Submitting an application with a waived fee will give your students the opportunity to view the great things UWA has to offer all while saving money. We both know application fees can add up quickly! The deadline to submit a free application with the discount code advantageapp22 is September 30.
