Fwd: 2017 Black History Month Campaign Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest

The Regions Black History Month Campaign launched this week, where Regions celebrates the contributions of African Americans and promotes the Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest. 

 

High School seniors and undergrad college student freshmen, sophomores and juniors may enter to win a scholarship. The entry timeframe is from January 16 – February 28, 2017.

 

One high school student in Mississippi will receive a $5,000 scholarship and one college student in Mississippi will receive a $3,500 scholarship. To enter, the students have to write an essay about an African-American who has inspired and motivated them. The essay has to be in 500 words or less.
