Hello, my name is Chloe Cole. I'm with Mississippi State's Society of Women Engineers. We are hosting an outreach event on Saturday, November 2nd from 10am-3pm for 9th-12th grade girls with the goal of getting them excited about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
I was hoping we could have you distribute a flyer to teachers to give to girls you think would be interested and work with you in making sure they are able to take the necessary steps to participate in our event. This event is completely free and we will provide lunch for the students. It will include activities, panel, and scavenger hunt. Parents are invited to tour Mississippi State's campus while the students participate in STEM-related activities. This event is limited to 60 spots so please register soon. More information can be found on the attached flyer.
