Getting to College with Esports

Hi Ryan,

Some students don't know how they're going to get into college or what major they're going to choose, but what they do know is what they're interested in, and one interest in particular – esports – can resolve both those uncertainties.

Dozens of colleges and universities have launched esports programs in the last couple of years, and the competition among them for top recruits can result in thousands of scholarship dollars for high school seniors. But more than that, esports spark an early passion for STEM subjects like coding, computer science, and robotics that can be further developed in degree programs and future careers.

Read more about how esports are creating a pipeline of college-going students in this complimentary resource.
