Volunteer as an Interviewer for The Gates Scholarship!   Dear Colleague,   The Gates Scholarship interviewer application* is still open! Selected interviewers will interview two to four of our 600 Finalists, between March 1, 2020 and March 31, 2020.   *If you have applied already, please disregard this message.   How to Apply to be an Interviewer: To begin the interviewer application, please create a 'volunteer' profile. If you already have an account, log into your MyTGS Portal. Once logged in, you will see a handshake icon on the top right-hand corner. Click on that icon to begin your interviewer application. If you save and then return to the application at a later point, you can continue filling out the application you started by clicking on your name on the top right-hand corner and selecting "Interviewer."  Selected interviewers will be notified on a rolling basis. Apply NOW!   Once selected, you must complete two important steps to become a certified interviewer: Online Certification Process Federal Background Check     Interview Application Timeline:   1. Interviewer Application Submission (December 2019 to February 2020) 2. Application Selection - Selected interviewers will be notified on a rolling basis 3. Online Certification 4. Federal Background Check (Begins January, 2020) 5. Finalist Interview (March 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020)   This role is offered on a volunteer basis.
